1.1 Scope

This Data Deletion Policy (“Deletion Policy”) describes how we delete, anonymise or otherwise render inaccessible the Personal Data and account-data of our users when requested or when the retention period expires. It complements the Privacy Policy.

1.2 User-Requested Deletion

If you request deletion of your account or specific Personal Data:

• Upon receipt of a valid request, we will verify your identity and act within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days unless a longer period is required).

  • Terminate the linking of your social-media accounts from our systems;
    
    
  • Notify you when deletion is complete.
    
    
• In certain cases we may retain a minimal subset of data (anonymised or aggregated) for legal, regulatory, tax or fraud-prevention purposes, or as required by platform-policy (e.g., Meta’s retention requirements).
  
  

1.3 Inactive Accounts & Automated Deletion

• Accounts that remain inactive for [insert period, e.g., 24 months] may be deactivated and/or deleted at our discretion. We will send you notice before deletion, giving you opportunity to reactivate.
  
  

1.4 Third-Party Platforms

When you integrate your accounts (e.g., via Meta platforms), some data may remain on those upstream platforms beyond our control. Our deletion obligation applies only to data stored within our systems. You remain responsible for your upstream accounts.

1.5 Data Archival and Back-ups

Even after deletion of user interface access, we may hold archived backups for a limited period (e.g., 90 days) to meet disaster-recovery, audit or compliance needs. These backups are not accessible through the Services.

1.6 Data Anonymization

Where appropriate, we may anonymise Personal Data (such that you are no longer identifiable) and retain it indefinitely for legitimate business-purposes (e.g., aggregated analytics). Anonymised data is not subject to this Deletion Policy.

1.7 Notification of Changes

We may update this Deletion Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date and notify users if required.
