  • “Services” means the website, chatbot automation, social-media integrations, mobile apps and related services offered by Multiserve.

We may collect the following categories of Personal Data:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, username, password.
  • Integration Data: When you connect your social-media accounts (e.g., Instagram via Meta), we may receive: profile ID, username, public profile information, posts, messages, analytics data (as permitted by the platform).
  • Usage Data: Log-files, IP address, browser/OS, pages viewed, time stamps, clicks, errors.
  • Chatbot Interaction Data: Transcripts or summaries of chatbot conversations, user-provided messages, attachments (images/documents) if you submit them.
  • Automated Posting Data: Content you create for posting via social-media, scheduling metadata, analytics/performance data drawn from same.
1.4 How We Use Your Data

We use your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain and improve the Services (including chatbot automation, posting, analytics).
  • To authenticate and link your social-media accounts and maintain integration.
  • To communicate with you (e.g., service updates, support, marketing where permitted).
  • To analyse usage trends, detect fraud, ensure security, comply with legal obligations.
1.5 Legal Basis

Where applicable under law, we rely on:

  • Your consent (e.g., for linking social-media accounts, for marketing communications).
  • Performance of a contract (providing the Services you request).
  • Legitimate interests (e.g., improving services, detecting misuse) provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
1.6 Data Disclosure and Third-Party Services
  • We may disclose your Personal Data to:
    • Meta and other social-media platforms as required to enable integrations.
    • Service providers (hosting, analytics, customer-support, payment processors) under contract ensuring confidentiality.
    • Legal/regulatory authorities if required by law or to protect rights of Multiserve or others.
  • We may use third-party tools for analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.).
1.7 International Data Transfers

We may transfer Personal Data to servers or service-providers located outside Sri Lanka (including regions where social-media platforms are headquartered or operate). We ensure that such transfers are done in compliance with applicable data-protection laws and that appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are in place.

We retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes in Section 2.4, comply with laws, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and as permitted by you.

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights including:

  • Correction: You can request to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: You can request us to delete your Personal Data, subject to certain legal/contractual retention requirements.

If you request deletion of your account or your Personal Data, we will:

  • Deactivate your account upon request and retain your data for any period required by law or to protect legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention).
  • Delete or anonymise your data from active systems within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days), subject to our retention obligations.
  • Notify you when deletion/anonymisation is complete.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction (e.g., encryption, access controls, audits). However, no system is flawless and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Services are not directed to persons under the age of 13. If you believe we have collected Personal Data of a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete the data as soon as possible.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will indicate a “Last Updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
